Donors are screened for HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C at the time of collection. However, as testing cannot completely ensure the absence of infectious agents, this product should be treated as potentially infectious. Store frozen tissue products in the vapor phase of a liquid nitrogen storage tank. When transferring product between containers, use a face shield and other appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for safety.
